Those that know me, know I don't wear a lot of makeup- mainly these days because the more I wear, the older I look!
My daily routine takes me about 10-15 minutes, and is what I wear to work (the office job), to makeup/hair jobs, and if I'm going out I may add a bit of eyeshadow and some lip gloss!
So here it is, my current routine with my favourite products (spoiler alert- they're all high street products!).
I no longer use a foundation, instead a prefer a skin tint as they're nice and light so they don't sit in my fine lines. My favourite to use at the moment is the Revolution 4 in 1 face glow. This is a beautiful product, can be used alone or under foundation, or on top as a highlighter.
If anyone uses the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood flawless filter, this is a dupe of that product, just a little easier on the wallet! The ELF halo glow liquid filter is also a brilliant dupe of this, and one I often use in my kit, alongside the Charlotte Tilbury product.
Next I apply a light dusting of any powder. I just use the Superdrug MUA translucent powder, but any powder will do! On top of this I use the Beauty Bay bronzer (I apply this on my cheeks to sculpt, my forehead and the side of my nose. Think where the sun would naturally bronze your face)then a little cream blush on the apples of my cheeks.
Don't come at me for this picture...they're well used and this is my own makeup, not my kit!!
As I generally tint my own eyebrows, I just use a clear gel to slick these in place, then I either just use mascara , or if I'm feeling fancy I'll add a winged liner! The products I use are from ELF and the mascara is ...from the pound shop! Honestly, the best mascara I was recommended to use ages ago! It's super buildable, waterproof and Cruelty free. And it doesn't drop!
If I am going out, I'll add some setting spray. This is my kit spray, and is the Peaches and Cream setting spray and smells devine!
And that's it! It's quick, it's cheap but it suits my skin and the look that I like.
If anyone has any questions, fire them over!
